Fertility

Dr. Karen Parmar is co-founder of Integrated Health Clinic^TM and has had a special interest in fertility since 2000. She offers customized treatment options to couples who seek choice in their fertility management. 

Many patients come with a diagnosis of endometriosis, uterine fibroids, PCOS, recurrent miscarriages, low sperm counts or varicocele (to name a few). There are many natural therapies to reverse or improve these conditons. More frequently, patients arrive with the frustrating diagnosis of "unexplained infertility", but upon further investigation may have subtle hormone imbalances, thyroid dysfunctions, and nutritional deficiencies. Upon corrrection of these imbalances, conception becomes natural.

Dr. Parmar offers alternative treatments to aid in conception, as well as complementary therapies to ongoing conventional fertility treatments.

Dr. Karen Parmar is a member of the International Bioidentical Hormone Society and has completed training in Advanced Hormone Balancing. She is a physician member of the Infertility Awareness Association of Canada (IAAC), and is listed in their quarterly journal, Creating Families, for her services. Dr. Parmar is the only Naturopathic Physician associate to The Pacific Centre for Reproductive Medicine (PCRM) one of Canada's foremost private IVF and Reproductive Medicine clinics. She is now receiving referrals from fertility clinics nationwide.

Dr. Parmar looks forward to meeting new patients and finds great joy in helping couples become pregnant and maintain healthy pregnancies, often after years of unsuccessful efforts.
