Dr. Jonathon Berghamer, N.D. began his study of health and science at the University of Guelph from which he graduated in 1997 with an Honours Degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology. Subsequently, Dr. Berghamer discovered his passion for medicine and the art of healing as independent study and travel brought him through Central America and South East Asia. Upon returning to Canada, he enrolled at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and upon graduating with top honours, received the prestigious BINM award for Clinical Excellence. After graduation, he completed a 2-year mentorship with a focus in Applied Kinesiology, Physical Medicine and Regenerative Injection Therapies.
Dr. Berghamer began his practice with the Naturopathic Team at Ocean Park Natural Therapies in 2008 and practiced there until September 2012. In 2009, he joined the team of physiotherapists at Parkway Physiotherapy in Victoria part-time and was a key member of their team until August of 2012. Upon the birth of his daughter, Avikah, Dr. Berghamer decided to stay close to home, and helped open Vancouver Integrated Health in Burnaby, which is now Catalyst Kinetics Group.
Dr. Berghamer is now is accepting new patients at Integrated Health Clinic and is offering additional support to any pre-existing patients of IHC who feel they would benefit from his services.
Dr. Berghamer believes optimal health is attainable for all through prevention, education and a commitment to one’s own well being. In following the Naturopathic principles, Dr. Berghamer endeavors to treat the whole person, educate and focus on the causes of disease in order to resolve health conditions.
