Julia Sharpe, Nutritionist
Nutritional Therapy Practitioner
Julia received her nutrition education from The Nutritional Therapy Association in Seattle WA. Julia follows a science based, holistic and functional approach to health, nutrition and wellness. Julia has specific tools for assessing the body’s nutritional deficiencies and dysfunction. She teaches patients how to address identified weaknesses through properly prepared, nutrient dense, whole foods diet, supplementation, mindset and lifestyle support. She dedicates time to exploring the body as a whole rather than just its parts, and respects bio-individuality. There is no one size fits all when it comes to diet, nutrition and supplementation. Therefore, you will get a very personalized, bespoke program that best suits your unique needs, interests and wellness goals.
Julia has also gained invaluable experience through her own health challenges dealing with chronic illness. As a result, she has gained the insight to connect, relate and empathize with patients on a more personal level.
Julia’s passions are cancer nutrition, gut and digestive health (SIBO/SIFO, IBS, dysbiosis), food allergies and sensitivities, healing & specialty diets (GAPS, SCD, AIP, Paleo, Keto, low histamine, low FODMAP, gluten free etc), auto-immune, and balancing blood sugar. The body has an amazing ability to heal when given the proper support, and nutrition is the foundational to any healing protocol. With a customized and supportive approach, she will work together with you towards optimal health and healing.
Besides finding Julia busy in the kitchen cooking, making bone broth and ferments, you may see her knitting, walking, hiking and biking outdoors, practising yoga and spending time with her family and labradoodle.
