PHYSICAL FITNESS & ATHLETICS

Fitness & athletics

At Integrated Health Clinic our physical fitness & athletics program allows us to support local athletes who need quick recovery from strenuous athletic events and competitions. Our physicians realize and promote the benefits of administering nutrients directly into the bloodstream. Intravenous therapies are incredibly effective and powerful because they replace lost and deficient nutrients quickly and directly into the bloodstream, restoring normal electrolyte and nutrition balance, bypassing any internal absorption issues.
Our athletic support IVs include: 250ml water to rehydrate fluid loss through sweating and water-soluble B-vitamins which are lost through strenuous exercise. Vitamin C and B-vitamins are needed in the Krebs’ cycle to make ATP (energy) enhancing stamina and performance. Calcium, magnesium and other minerals will minimize muscle cramping and fatigue. Sodium, potassium, chloride and bicarbonate restore electrolyte balance often disrupted from prolonged sweating. Amino acids aid recovery and performance while Traumeel prevents and treats injuries and inflammation.
IV therapy should be added to your workout and competitive routine. It will increase stamina and performance, aid in recovery and significantly decrease down time. To start utilizing this therapy, please call us to book a new patient consultation with one of our doctors. During this visit a customized IV plan will be discussed including recommended dosages and frequency.
Integrated Health Clinic provides a variety of Vitamin IV therapies administered by our highly qualified nursing and lab tech staff with all therapies supervised and monitored by our team of physicians.
