Comprehensive Intravenous (IV) and Injection Therapies
IV Therapies Tailored to You
Intravenous (IV) and injection therapies are proven effective mechanisms for the delivery of fluids, vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the circulatory system. With a primary focus on nutrient delivery and hydration, IVs and injection therapies are prescribed by our licensed naturopathic doctors to address specific patient needs.
At IHC, we customize unique intravenous (IV) and injection therapy plans for each patient. Once prescribed, they are administered and monitored by our team of naturopathic doctors and registered nurses.
Our Intravenous (IV) Treatments
-
IV rehydration therapy supports recovery for athletes, pregnant people, those recently ill, and people experiencing discomfort after an indulgent night out. Recover sooner with rehydration therapy.
-
Pioneered by Dr. John Myers (Myers’ cocktail), IV nutrient therapy allows for higher concentrations of nutrients (vitamins, minerals and amino acids) to be delivered quickly and efficiently, bypassing the GI tract.
-
Anti-oxidants, such as Vitamin C, glutathione and selenium, protect the body from oxidative damage. Oral forms are often difficult to absorb, making IV antioxidant therapy beneficial for optimal health.
-
Iron deficiency is very common, especially in perimenopausal women and those of childbearing age. Many people fail to tolerate oral supplementation adequately, making IV therapy a viable and safe alternative.
-
IV ozone therapy involves administering ozone gas into the body through an intravenous line. This therapy enhances oxygen delivery to tissues, stimulates the immune system, and promotes healing.
-
Remove toxic metals from your body effectively with chelation therapy. Chelation in Latin means “claw”. EDTA and other chelating substrates bind to lead, mercury, and other toxic metals to help eliminate them from your system.
-
Intralipid IV Therapy is an immune-modulating infusion used to support patients experiencing recurrent implantation failure (RIF) or recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL). This treatment may help promote a healthier immune balance by supporting TH1/TH2 regulation and reducing elevated natural killer (NK) cell activity, factors that may impact implantation and early pregnancy development.
IV Treatment Classifications
We’ve organized our IV formulations into six distinct categories, from hydration and nutrients to antioxidants and chelation. This evidence-informed approach helps us match the right combination of vitamins, minerals, and compounds to your goals.
Our Injection Treatments (IM/SC)
-
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to anemia and neurological issues. Used to support energy levels, promote healthy nerve function, and build red blood cells. Often deficient in vegetarians, older adults and those with absorption issues.
-
Vitamin D is critical in bone health, immune function, mood regulation, and chronic disease prevention. Often deficient in those with limited sun exposure, older adults, and individuals with darker skin tones.
-
Vitamin A is crucial for maintaining healthy vision, supporting immune function, and maintaining healthy skin and mucous membranes. It is crucial for cell growth and differentiation and has antioxidant properties.
-
NAD+ is known for its role in cellular metabolism and energy production, such as energy metabolism, DNA repair, cellular aging, neuroprotection and metabolic health.
-
Biotin (Vitamin B7) has several important uses, including: improving hair and skin health, nail strength, and supporting the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and protein.
Injection therapy is a safe and effective way to administer single-nutrient therapy at doses higher and more efficient than oral administration.
