Dr. Sarah Soles is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) and Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO). Her practice focuses on women’s health, integrative cancer care, and longevity support.

Dr. Soles completed her naturopathic medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She subsequently completed a 2-year residency in naturopathic cancer care at the Integrated Health Clinic. She continues to help patients at every stage in cancer care – from screening and prevention to active treatment or maintaining a remission.

For women navigating the menopause transition or hormone imbalances, Dr. Soles uses bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and non-pharmaceutical interventions such as dietary and lifestyle changes, as well as targeted supplementation. She also has experience managing chronic diseases associated with aging such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease. When indicated, Dr. Soles can prescribe pharmaceutical medications as part of a holistic plan.

As an evidence-based practitioner, Dr. Soles uses research and laboratory testing to guide her individualized care plans. She is a Research Director for the Knowledge in Integrative Oncology Website (KNOW) and a contributing author to the Textbook of Naturopathic Oncology: A Desktop Guide to Integrative Cancer Care.

Cancer Care

Given that 1 in 2 Canadians is expected to develop cancer in their lifetime, cancer prevention is critical to longevity and overall health. Dr. Soles works with patients to assess their risk of developing cancer and provides education on how these risks can be minimized. If a cancer diagnosis has been made, she guides patients through active treatment with the intent of maximizing response and minimizing side effects, which can ultimately improve quality of life and survival. Following treatment, Dr. Soles works with patients to optimize their health and reduce the risk of recurrence.

Women’s Health

Women have unique health concerns that can impact their quality of life and longevity. Dr. Soles has a special interest in helping women navigate menopause and conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, premenstrual syndrome, and hypothyroidism through bioidentical hormone replacement, nutraceutical supplementation, and/or dietary and lifestyle changes.

Longevity Support & Seniors’ Health

Dr. Soles enjoys working with older adults to maintain health throughout the aging process and manage chronic diseases. This includes conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and cognitive decline. She also employs preventive medicine in patients of all ages who want to support longevity and arrest disease development.
