Dr. Karen Parmar ND, and her husband, co-founded Integrated Health Clinic in 2000. Dr. Parmar has continued to study the causes and currently recommended treatments for infertility, for the past 16 years. She offers many evidence based treatments for those couples suffering with difficulties conceiving., utilizing a range of treatments from nutritional and herbal support to ovarian stimulation and IUI (intrauterine insemination). She utilizes ultrasound in her practice to help monitor follicular development, endometrial lining, and ovulation.
As well as treating infertility, Dr. Karen Parmar is board certification in IUD (intrauterine devise) insertions. Her ultrasound training allows her to guide the insertions, and ensure the IUD is in the correct location in the uterus. She inserts IUD’s for her own patients, and also takes referrals from ND’s and MD’s throughout the Fraser Valley.
Dr. Karen Parmar was the president of the CNPBC, the regulatory body for Naturopathic Physicians in B.C., from 2010- 2015.
