Dr. Katherine Townsley, ND, is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia and a member of both the British Columbia Naturopathic Association and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Dr. Townsley, ND developed a passion for medicine through her lifelong involvement in equestrian sports and backcountry hiking which fostered an interest in helping people optimize their health and performance. She earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine – Boucher Campus after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her education and clinical training fostered a strong appreciation for evidence-informed, patient-centred care that combines the best of conventional and naturopathic medicine.

Dr. Townsley has a special interest in sports medicine, pain management, concussion recovery, headaches and migraines, and hormone health. She enjoys working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that address the underlying contributors to illness while helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

In practice, Dr. Townsley believes in treating the whole person—not just their symptoms. She takes the time to understand each patient's unique story, empowering them with education and practical strategies so they can play an active role in their health and recovery.

Outside of clinic you’ll find Dr. Townsley either hiking a new mountain trail with her Labrador retriever, Chester or at the barn riding and tending to her garden. Dr. Townsley balances her passion for activity and adventure with her “analogue hobbies” as an avid reader and cook.
