Ozone & Oxidative Therapy

What is Ozone?

SUPER OXYGEN FOR HEALING

When you hear the word “ozone,” you may immediately think of the ozone layer in our atmosphere that protects us from the ultraviolet radiation from the sun. The sun’s ultraviolet rays are what create ozone (O3).

Ozone (O3), is an energized form of oxygen which contains three atoms of oxygen rather than the two atoms we normally breathe. Ozone is one of the best healing agents, detoxifiers, and sterilizers when used in medicine.

How does ozone work?

Ozone

The third oxygen atom of ozone makes it extremely reactive, readily attaches itself to other molecules. When contaminants such as bacteria or viruses make contact with ozone, it creates a minuscule hole in the cell wall. After the ozone breaches the cell wall, the bacteria will be unable to survive. This process is called “oxidation.” Once used, ozone reverts to oxygen, making it a very environmentally friendly oxidant.

A systemic medical treatment using ozone is autohemotherapy.  Simply put, autohemotherapy is the process of taking a person’s blood, cleaning it, and re-introducing it back into the same person’s body.

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UBI)

UBI is conducted by running a small amount of a person’s blood underneath UVA and UVC rays through special tubing for maximum exposure. In so doing, light therapy “cleans and freshens” a person from the inside out. This stimulates the immune system to destroy pathogens, no matter if they are viral, fungal, bacterial, or cancerous.  There are no known serious side effects and the therapy creates a strong immune response.
