CranioSacral therapy is a gentle, hands on way of sensing where the body is imbalanced physically. Over time, I have developed more sensitivity and find that often these physical sore-spots often hold emotions that we haven’t let go of. The technique can also be used to help re-balance and release. It is also an essential component of any post-concussive treatment plan I create.
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle hands on method of assessing and treating asymmetry in the body. The goal is to re-establish natural body rhythm in order to allow for healing.
Conditions suited to CranioSacral therapy include GERD, bloating, hip pain, chronic muscle tension and post-concussive syndrome. Children are particularly responsive to CranioSacral Therapy and the technique can be incorporated into a visit or booked with one of the qualified ND’s who does CST.
How to prepare for your CranioSacral visit: The treatment can be booked for any amount of time (most commonly 30 minutes). Wear comfortable clothing.
